United Illuminating (UI) unveiled Connecticut’s first substation flood wall, the Congress Street Flood Wall, a groundbreaking $55 million infrastructure investment protecting Congress Street Substation in downtown Bridgeport from storm surge and sea level rise of the adjacent Pequonnock River.
