Meet a Lease Portfolio Manage: Kerri Victor
Kerri Victor is the key point of contact for Avangrid’s landowners across the western United States. She has been with the company for 19 years and is proud to work with a diverse group of landowners across the region.
– Who is Kerri?
I am a lease portfolio manager at Avangrid. That means I am the primary point of contact between our landowners and Avangrid, helping them with their questions or concerns. Specifically, I support our landowners in the western United States. I have been at Avangrid for 19 years now, and I chose to work in this industry because I wanted to work for a company that has a positive impact, both within the communities that we serve and the environment.
– What gets you excited about working in this industry?
It is exciting to see our major projects go from the development phase, to construction, and ultimately into operation. I love to see the positive impact our projects have on the communities I work with. Specifically, it is inspiring to see how local communities take new tax revenue from our projects and turn it into upgrades at the elementary school, or better firefighting equipment, or anything else that will better the lives of people living in that area. Klickitat County, Washington provides a good example of the positive relationships we build with communities, and that was recently captured in a video you can find on our YouTube channel.
– What is the best part of the job?
The best part of my job is working with a diverse group of landowners and helping them navigate the ins and outs of working with the energy industry. We recognize that it is important to provide our landowners with quality service, and I am proud of the many examples where our team of lease portfolio managers have helped landowners get what they need when they need it.
– How can landowners stay up to date on everything happening at Avangrid?
The best way to ensure landowners have all of the information they need from Avangrid is to be in close contact with lease portfolio managers like me. We are the best point of contact for project landowners. Beyond that, this newsletter is a good resource to stay updated on Avangrid’s construction projects and operating portfolio.
